Born in La Spezia, Giagomo graduated in anthropology from the University of Florence. She followed the European Master’s documentary program in Barcelona, where she collaborated as assistant screenwriter to Joaquim Jorda and Jose Louis Guerin. Her first feature documentary, The Grotesque Side of Life(2006) was awarded a prize by the Turin FF. She directed Housing(2009) was S\\ed by the Locarno, Turin and Rotterdam Film Festivals.
